TPS Mex is adding an additional manufacturing facility in Leon, Mexico, in the heart of the country's automotive manufacturing industry.

The new production facility will increase the company's manufacturing capacity of its expendable packaging capabilities, along with production for one of the largest technology companies in the world.

The opening of the plant increases TPS' operations to four manufacturing facilities in the Guanajuato region, the company said in a statement announcing the expansion.

"Our commitment to manufacture product in Mexico reflects our dedication to our customers. We are excited to be expanding into the technology market. The decision we made several years ago to expand our expertise beyond automotive in Mexico," said TPS. "Our goal at that time was to serve our customers with the same level of performance that our customers in the United States enjoy. This new venture will strengthen both our American and Mexican operations."

TPS' primary focus of expendable packaging will be expanding as they have just closed a deal to produce and manufacture six product lines for the technology giant.

TPS has recently been growing their operations throughout Mexico, specifically in the Central Region. With this new facility, TPS expects to bring on an additional 50 employees to service the six new programs.

Its expendable packaging products are utilized in various industries including automotive, electronics, appliances, and technology.
